Washington, D.C. (February 25, 2025) – Asurity Technologies, LLC (“Asurity®”), a leader in financial compliance software, advisory and training services, announced its 2025 Fair Lending Forum will convene from May 7 – 9 at the Marriott Marquis in Washington, D.C. This premier event brings together government regulatory thought leaders, a broad array of financial institutions, technology solution providers, risk and compliance professionals, along with legal and advisory experts to explore insights and strategies in fair banking practices and current industry trends.

Andy Sandler, Founder and Chairman of Asurity said, “We are committed to empowering financial institutions with the knowledge, tools, and technology needed to confidently meet their fair lending and fair banking obligations in alignment with their strategic objectives. The Forum brings together industry voices to drive meaningful conversations on regulatory risk and compliance, innovation, and best practices. With all that is changing, this year’s Forum promises to be a thought provoking and uniquely informative event.”

Forum participants will not only engage in substantive discussions, but will have the opportunity to network with peers regarding practical challenges encountered, while examining strategies for navigating the path ahead. Topics such as fair lending and HMDA priorities, the Dodd Frank Act’s Small Business Lending’s evolving status and requirements, Community Reinvestment Act federal and state imperatives, artificial intelligence's increasing impact on financial services, and other emerging industry factors will be analyzed.

“2025 is no time for superficial understanding of statutory protection objectives and technical regulatory particulars. We are navigating rugged, volatile territory requiring savvy industry risk and compliance expertise. Depth of understanding of the laws, regulations, strategic objectives and technicalities is sheer survival in today’s landscape,” said Patti Joyner, Asurity Academy’s Managing Director.

To meet this need, this year’s Forum will include a multi-day compliance training program hosted by Asurity Academy, Asurity’s recently launched professional development arm. Training will begin with two rapid fire virtual 1.5 hour sessions in April and culminate with an in-person training session on May 7, immediately before the commencement of the Forum.

Early bird rates are available through March 7 and all registered Forum attendees are eligible for 13.5 CRCM and 9 CERP continuing education credits. Those who participate in Asurity Academy’s virtual and in-person training are eligible for an additional 9.5 CRCM and 6 CERP continuing education credits.
