Find out why a top-ten mortgage lender with a proprietary loan origination system (LOS) needed to convert from a legacy document platform.
RiskExec has recently been updated to include the following enhancements:
Redlining Module
Advanced Analysis: Exclude Peers Without Branches
Users can now choose to only include peers in their analysis that have branches in the geographies selected during analysis setup. The OCC has recently considered peer groups with lenders at 50-200% of the institution’s LAR, or regardless of LAR size, and with a physical location in the geographical area. To be prepared for examinations, an institution may wish to consider competitors with a physical location in the geography in addition to any other peer groups evaluated. Incorporating competitors' locations may also assist in developing performance context, determining the relative impact of competition associated with competitors' physical locations versus their digital lending, or identifying areas where the institution may wish to consider adding a branch or loan production office. This new feature will allow users to achieve this in their redlining analysis results.
If this option is selected, the Analysis Results Notes tab will indicate in yellow if any peers were excluded for not having any branches and list the institutions that were excluded.
Redlining Analysis: Peer Geography
If a unique peer set has been assigned to a geography in this screen, the Peers icon will now turn blue, indicating a set has been selected.
Redlining and Fair Lending Modules
Assessment Areas Layer Added to Dataset Maps
The Assessment Areas Layer has been added to the dataset maps in Redlining and Fair Lending.
Note: To utilize this Layer, an Assessment Area Set must first be attached to the dataset and the dataset must be geocoded.
Maps
Export Map: Include Location Marker
If a user plots a location marker on the map, the export of that map will now include the location marker. To plot a location marker, enter an address into the map search bar.
Filter: Only View Records Outside of Assessment Areas
Users are now able to filter a map to only view records that fall outside of the Assessment Area Set attached to their file or dataset.
Search Bar: Zoom to a Census Tract
Users now have the ability to enter a census tract into the map search bar and zoom to that specific tract.
HMDA and CRA Modules
Ability to Add a Comment When Saving a Record
Users now have the option to add a comment when saving any changes they make to a HMDA or CRA record. To add a comment when editing an individual record, click on the arrow next to the Save button and click on Save with Comment.
Comments will be included in the notes column of the Change Log when the record is saved.
Peer Analysis Module
Respondent Count
The number of respondents included in a Peer Set will now be displayed in the Peer Type column of the Peer Sets list.
