The Advanced Analysis is the original option to create a New Analysis in the Redlining module. Nothing has changed in the process of setting up a new Redlining analysis when the Advanced Analysis option is selected. The new option, Streamlined Analysis, has pre-set parameters that will run when this option is selected. The Streamlined Analysis Results will look identical to the results of the Advanced Analysis. |

Assessment Areas Module Metropolitan CBSAs Metropolitan CBSAs (Core Based Statistical Areas) are now available as Assessment Area Units in RiskExec. The CBSAs are the full MSAs as defined by OMB. They are not the MSA/MDs that the FFIEC uses. A CBSA Assessment Area can be used to include the entire MSA in the 11 metro areas that are divided into Metropolitan Divisions. For example: CBSA Chicago-Naperville-Elgin, IL-IN-WI MSA (16980) consists of four FFIEC MSA/MDs: Chicago-Naperville-Evanston IL Metropolitan Division (16984), Gary IN Metropolitan Division (23844), Elgin IL Metropolitan Division (20994), and Lake County-Kenosha County IL-WI Metropolitan Division (29404) RiskExec’s mapping tool has two different layers for MSAs. MSA/MDs (FFIEC) shows Metropolitan Divisions if the MSA has been divided. MSAs (CBSA) only includes the entire MSAs. |
