Maps

New Layers: Bank Branches and Credit Union Branches

Two new layers have been added to RiskExec’s maps: Bank Branches and Credit Union Branches.

Bank Branches are added from the Annual FDIC Summary of Deposits file and Credit Union Branches are from the NCUA call reports.

Radius Tool Enhancements
The radius tool in RiskExec Maps has been updated and enhanced. Users can now have multiple radii area(s) drawn on a map. The radius popup can be changed to show Records instead of Census Tracts.

Drop a Pin
A new marker tool has been added to the maps. Users can use this tool to drop a pin and get the geocoding and some demographic data for that location. The Place that is returned is a reverse geocode for the latitude and longitude of the marker.  The Accuracy is how close the reverse geocode is to the marker.  If there is not an address close enough, the Accuracy will be left blank and only a zip code will be returned instead of an address. The pin, its geocoding information, and its demographic information will be exported if a user exports the map.

Redlining Module

Advanced Analysis Peer Selection

The Advanced Redlining Analysis has been enhanced to allow users to choose to have RiskExec select their peers for their analysis.

Note: This option is only available if all of the geographies selected for analysis are Assessment Areas.

If you choose to have RiskExec select your peer respondents, a screen very similar to the Peer Finder screen in the Peer Analysis module will appear.

  • Choose whether or not to exclude your institution from the Market Analysis
  • Enter your target institution’s name in the Target Institution field
  • The default LAR size is 50-200%, but can be edited if needed
  • Choose whether or not you only want to include peers with branches in the geographies you selected for analysis
